The People: Meet Oke-Samuel Jeffery.

We recently brought in Oke-Samuel Jeffery to Join us here at ComiBlock as a Blockchain engineer. Jeffery is an amazing and fun person; on his own time plays a lot of basketball and reads books whenever he has the chance, and the crazier part is that reading is more like a family tradition.

What brought you to Comiblock, and what has been your impression so far?

What brought me to ComiBlock majorly was the team's mission, to make quality investment advice accessible to everyday people and easier to navigate the crypto space. 

My impression so far has been amazing, knowing we have all got each other's back, the friendship and politeness amongst the team just makes you love to work with the team.

In a few words, describe your passion for working at ComiBlock?

As a developer, I have always wanted to be part of a team building a real product that helps people experience financial well-being, leveraging Blockchain. And I believe in the mission, I believe that what we are doing will help millions of people across Africa, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Well, I am a sporty person and in my free time I love to play a lot of basketball, and I also read books whenever I get the chance to, it's more like a family tradition. 

Tell us a fun fact about yourself?

One of my favorite things to do really is reading books, I try as much as possible to finish 1 or 2 books every week. I mostly read self-help, motivational and fantasy books.

So, when I read it helps me see things from other people's perspective and experience, growing up my parents basically pushed reading on me and my siblings, it helped me make better choices in my life especially the self-help books.

Where do you base, and what's your favorite thing about living there?

I’m based in the beautiful city of Akure.

One of my favorite things has to be that it’s very quiet and peaceful. There are a lot of hotels, restaurants and clubs in Akure, so it’s really easy to have a good time. My favorite place is Aristo Games and Bistro, it’s a Bar/Restaurant with a really beautiful design and customer service.
